Job Role

Seetec Pluss is one of the UK’s leading providers of employability and health services, supporting thousands of people to move into employment each year.

The role will form part of WHP - JETS scheme which will be focused on providing employment support to those individuals who have recently lost their job as a result of the devastating impact of Covid-19.

The scheme will address the barriers to gaining alternative employment with tailored support to enable individuals to develop a business idea into a meaningful income generating business.

We are looking for a Staff Trainer to join the WHP_JETS team.  This role will support internal colleagues to develop their ‘Employability’ knowledge and skills. Taking responsibility for the design and delivery of tailored employability skills training for new colleagues as part of their initial induction or to existing colleagues to further their CPD.

Our ideal candidate will have Eeerience of delivering and developing training programmes face to face and/or remotely using a number of digital technologies. Knowledge of the employability industry and delivering employability skills and personal development training programmes.  You must be fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes to include 365 products and modern digital technologies, i.e. Microsoft Teams.

This Working Health Programme - Job Entry Targeted Support will address the barriers to gaining alternative employment with tailored support to enable individuals to achieve and sustain new employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators and all Quality and Compliance measures by delivering high quality training to employees.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to offer high impact training solutions to meet a range of people development training needs relating to the Employability sector (including How to sessions, Action Planning, Managing relationships, Coaching, Challenging and negotiating).
  • Facilitate delivery using a range of digital technologies and platforms as well as traditional classroom based delivery
  • Selecting appropriate facilitation methods or activities, design and develop training programmes which meet colleague’s learning needs, aligned to contractual requirements.
  • Design, develop and host appropriate ‘train-the-trainer’ sessions for internal subject matter experts which will be delivered remotely or face to face.
  • Assist in the development of corporate training and contribute to employee induction and training as and when required.
  • When delivering training remotely ensure appropriate digital technologies are being utilised with an appropriate delivery environment that supports privacy and confidentiality of attendees.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of colleague training activities using the appropriate Learning Management Systems.

Skills and Experience


  • Excellent understanding of the barriers unemployed job seekers face in obtaining a new job
  • Experience of deploying motivational strategies to develop individuals.
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above


  • Experience of delivering in a high-performance target driven culture
  • Award in Education and training level 3 (Formerly PTLLS) or certificate in Education and Training level 4 (formerly CTLLS).
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
  • Experience of analysing and reporting on training needs and delivery using IT systems.
  • Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area (region), when required

Additional Information

Salary: £25,339 p.a.
Location: Remote
Hours: 37 hrs per week - 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday & 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday
