Content and Graphic Design Officer 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Role

Join our Policy, Communications and Public Affairs team as a Content/Graphic Design Officer to support in delivering Seetec’s external and internal engagement strategies through creating cut through content that reaches the right audiences at the right time through the right channel.  Engaging our employees and promoting our value proposition externally to help protect and grow business and improve people’s lives by unlocking their social and economic potential.


Our successful candidate will have experience of Content Officer role with a good level of experience to deal with the graphic design tasks so would have exceptional design and editing skills.  You will be results and outcome focused individual who has a digital native to keeps on top of key trends and innovations.

 

Key Responsibilities


• Manage day-to-day design content development, against plan, acting as a go-to person and designing unmissable, dynamic content that brings our messages and narratives to life in the most powerful and compelling ways; driving reach and maximising engagement through range of content formats and assets.

• Generate ideas for turning messages, information and campaign strategies into stand out designed content.

• Produce and design images, graphics, photography, infographics, videos, blogs, vlogs, podcasts and printed collateral that make every content moment matter.

• Edit, repackage and repurpose content and assets to maximise reach and return on investment.

• Ensure all designed content is consistent with our brand identity, editorial and tone of voice guidelines.

• Design and deploy a briefing template to ensure objectives, deliverables and expectations are agreed upfront.

• Manage a digital asset library ensuring fast and efficient access to materials that can be reused and / or repurposed to maximise investment.

• Create high impact presentations.

•Build a good understanding of the issues, challenges and priorities for the business and establish a network of contacts to ensure information and knowledge is kept up to date
•Maintain a good knowledge of Seetec’s external engagement strategy and the internal communications strategy.
•Provide essential input into the content strategy for internal and external communications; attending the external communications Editorial Board meetings and relevant internal communication meetings

•Ensuring we leverage all channels to amplify our campaigns and advocacy programmes

Skills and Experience

•3-4 years’ experience in a similar position or graphic design role 
•Experience of writing copy and creating content for distinctive audiences, in different formats and styles for a variety of channels 
 

Additional Information

Salary: £25,000  -  £30,000 p.a.  (dependent on experience) This is a 12 month fixed term contract
Location: Hockley/Remote
Hours: 37 hours a week  Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Closing Date: 22 April 2021
