IT Asset Engineer (Hockley)

Working in the Service Delivery team, our Device Management Engineers are responsible for owning the end-to-end service fulfilment lifecycle for configuring, assigning and decommissioning all corporate user devices including any hardware build, refresh and upgrades.


Our successful candidate will have excellent customer service and relationships skills, the ability to manage workload effectively and to target. A real passion for IT with a desire to always learn and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking tasks required to meet Service and Operational levels and Device Performance targets that enable business operations to continue successfully.
• The build and delivery of IT End User Devices needed to ensure successful business operations.
• Completing approved moves for End User Devices ensuring the maintenance of a current technical environment supporting the successful delivery of business operations.
• Configuring and distributing End User Devices and supporting the adoption and understanding of technology
• Ensure that data is accurately maintained enabling business operations to meet security, statutory and regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience

• Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent by experience.
• Hold accreditation as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) and RITT Support or equivalent.
• Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of, and capability to work within, relevant
• ICT related standards including HMG Security Policy Framework, IITIL V3, ISO/IEC 38500, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301, ISO/IEC 20000, PRINCE2 and MSP

Additional Information

Salary: £24,000 - £26,750 p.a. (dependent on experience)
Location: Hockley, Essex 

Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday- Thursday 8.30 am - 4.30pm Friday (Full Time)
