Performance Optimisation Manager (Uxbridge)

Seetec Pluss is one of the UK’s leading providers of employability and health services, supporting thousands of people to move into employment each year.

As an organisation we are recruiting for a number of Employability contracts to support the unemployment back to work. This job will play a key role in contributing to the UK’s economic recovery, ‘Restart’ which is a cornerstone of the Governments ‘Plan for Jobs’ strategy and the existing expansion to the existing Work and Health Programme (WHP_JETS).

The role will be supporting individuals who have been in long- term unemployment or those affected because of the devastating economic impact of Covid-19.  We will address the barriers to gaining new employment with tailored support for each individual to achieve and sustain good work, including supported job search, re-training for a different sector and restoring self-confidence for work.

You will provide motivational support to build positive relationships, guide, inspire, challenge, encourage and help individuals obtain sustainable employment.

The Performance Optimisation Manager will support the operational management team to maximise performance, in a defined area, and drive high achievement of all performance and quality targets and ensure the service meets the needs of the participating individuals utilising data to identify areas for improvement whilst sharing best practice. Alongside managing Employer Engagement to support contract outcomes.

We will address the barriers to gaining new employment with tailored support for each individual to achieve and sustain good work, including supported job search, re-training for a different sector and restoring self-confidence for work.

The requirement of this role will be for a ‘face-to-face’ service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for realising Performance Optimisation on the Restart plan; supporting delivery of KPI’s across a range of metrics, (performance, financial and quality).
  • Review and analyse management information to identify emerging trends to proactively address potential risk areas across the contract (performance, quality and staff) working closely with the Area Manager, Operations Director and central Operational Excellence team.
  • Drive a high-performance culture in line with Seetec Pluss’ vision and values.
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to continually monitor and evaluate service delivery, ensuring it meets and strives to exceed the objectives of the contract specification
  • Ensure that contractual Customer Service Standards are achieved, identifying areas of improvement and taking corrective action to address any under-performance.
  • Work closely with central MI/BI teams, and the Prime provider, to ensure that relevant data is available to drive improvement in performance, quality and compliance.
  • Design and deliver an employer engagement strategy with a team of Employer Account Managers, to ensure suitable vacancies are sourced to meet customer need, working closely with other employer services teams across Seetec and Seetec Pluss.
  • Monitor the customer experience for participants on the programme in order to identify opportunities for service improvement and greater participant engagement.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders across the area to maximise opportunities for our customers, including but not limited to Jobcentre Plus, local authorities, specialist partners and employers.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Extensive leadership & management experience
  • A detailed working knowledge of the local labour market in the advertised geographical area
  • Extensive experience of working in a target driven environment
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards

Desirable

  • Extensive knowledge of the employability industry
  • Experience of working with people in ‘advice & guidance’ environments
  • Recognised management or leadership qualifications – (Level 3 and above)
  •  Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area, when required

Additional Information

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Uxbridge
Hours: 37 hrs (full time) 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday -Thursday, 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday
Closing Date: 16 March 2022 (Rolling campaign due to high volume of activity)
