Area Manager (Dublin City)
Job Role
We’ve an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic operational manager to lead our local team in one of our centres.
You’ll be at the frontline of our business, changing lives by identifying and securing sustainable employment opportunities for the long term unemployed.
Our people are our greatest assets and we’d like you to coach and mentor our team to fulfil their potential and deliver superior performance and ensure an exceptional level of service for our clients and contracting authorities.
Ideally you’ll currently operate as a middle manager within the retail or contract services sectors and be ready to take your next step in your career.
We need your strong interpersonal skills and your excitement of meeting new challenges in a different and rewarding sector. Some experience of developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders would be of benefit too.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range of €46,000 to €58,500 p.a. (dependent on experience) + €1,500 Dublin Allowance with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a high-performance culture, driving financial targets as set out in the budget. Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with Seetec’s culture and that emphasises the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organisation.
- Plan, allocate and continually evaluate use of resources, ensuring optimum use of staff and property to achieve performance and financial targets and an exceptional quality of service.
- Oversee the effective delivery of employer services to meet the prevailing needs of service users.
- Deliver new contracted services allocating resources and multiple contractual requirements effectively.
- Maintain a quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; undertaking regular compliance checks; analysing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending, implementing and evaluating system and process improvements.

Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years’ management experience in a customer facing environment.
- Track record of operational success, achieving contracted targets in a fast paced, multi-site operation.
- Substantial people management experience with a demonstrable track record of leading and motivating a team, managing performance and staff development.
- Proven ability to manage budgets to optimise outcomes and meet financial targets.
- Track record of managing change and implementing new initiatives whilst maintaining / improving performance and quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of local and national labour market issues and the impact on employment opportunities.
- Previous experience of representing the business to external stakeholders and building mutually beneficial partnerships.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the contracted services, employment support, training or recruitment industries.
