We’re currently recruiting for an Employment Adviser to join our amazing team. The role involves providing advice and support to help participants overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. A caseload of participants will be managed, supporting them throughout their journey into work, acting as a coach, mentor and trusted point of contact.
Strong, positive relationships will be at the heart of this role, alongside guiding, motivating and challenging participants to achieve their goals and secure sustainable employment. This position plays a key role in helping individuals identify solutions, build confidence and take meaningful steps towards their future.
The ideal candidate will bring excellent customer service skills, a target-driven mindset and a natural ability to motivate others. A proactive and solutions-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. While experience is valuable, what matters most is a passion for delivering first-class service and a commitment to empowering lives and improving communities.

In return for dedication, knowledge and commitment, a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) is offered, alongside a range of great additional benefits.

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of the local labour market to source opportunities.

Engage employers through marketing, networking, and candidate matching.

Build stakeholder relationships to maximise vacancies.Maintain accurate records and meet quality/compliance standards.Signpost to specialist support services where required.Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice.

Skills and Experience
Essential
-
Working knowledge of self-employment pathways and support options

Highly IT literate, with strong skills across Microsoft Office applications

Proven ability to thrive in a target-driven environment

Experience delivering high-quality services in line with contractual and compliance standards
Desirable

Strong understanding of the employability sector and customer support pathways

Good knowledge of recruitment practices and employer engagement

Experience providing effective information, advice, and guidance to diverse individuals

Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as required
