Volunteer Coordinator - (South West)

Job Role

Join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator.

You'll be in charge of recruiting, overseeing, and training a group of volunteers who will assist in providing interventions to individuals transitioning out of prison and those serving community sentences. It will be your responsibility to make sure that all volunteers are properly trained to provide support to our participants in various areas of the criminal justice system.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading volunteer teams through training sessions and possessing excellent administrative abilities.

We acknowledge that not all candidates will possess every qualification, hence we are in search of a proficient leader who can effectively engage with a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £23,088 - £28,200 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Skills and Experience

  • Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance or Education and Training qualification - desirable
  • Staff management and effective teamwork
  • Experience of training/coaching in groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
