We’re currently recruiting an Employment Adviser to join our supportive and passionate team. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide tailored advice and practical support to help individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic, meaningful job goals.  You’ll manage your own caseload of participants, guiding them through their journey into employment as a trusted coach and mentor. By building strong, positive relationships, you’ll motivate, challenge, and encourage individuals to move forward and ultimately secure sustainable employment.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary range of  £26,500  to £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great additional benefits:

Location:   You will cover our offices in Winsford and Northwich (Full UK driving licence desirable; however, this is not essential where candidates have reliable access to travel to and from work via public transport)
Hours:   37 hours a week.  Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm
Closing Date:  06 May 2026

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants, supporting them to overcome barriers and progress into sustainable employment
  • Deliver a positive, engaging customer experience that meets required service and quality standards
  • Work towards and achieve individual performance targets (KPIs)Complete assessments to understand each participant’s needs, goals, and circumstances
  • Co‑produce personalised action plans with SMART goals to support timely progression
  • Provide tailored job‑search support, including CVs, applications, interview preparation
  • Apply safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and health and safety policies at all times
  • Take responsibility for ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous improvement
  • To undertake any other duties, as required, appropriate to the post 

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Basic knowledge of self‑employment and progression routes
  • Confident IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office and digital systems effectively
  • Experience of working in a target‑driven environment
  • Knowledge in delivering services in line with contractual, quality, and performance standards

Desirable

  • Experience or knowledge of either the employability or recruitment sector
  • Supporting individuals into work
  • Experience delivering information, advice and guidance to support informed decision‑making
  • Full UK driving licence desirable; however, this is not essential where candidates have reliable access to travel to and from work via public transport
