Customer Support Rapid Response Advisor (Exeter)

Job Role

 

Come and join us as a Customer Support Advisor in the newly formed Rapid Response Team.

You’ll be responsible for delivering in work support to participants who have secured work and would benefit from core hours support to complement our Rapid Response In Work Support Advisors, Out Of Core Hours Team. 

Once a participant starts work, the advisor will provide an appropriate/agreed level of in-work support, to support a smooth transition in the critical early stages of a new job start and identify risks of them fallen out of work and engaging back with our Employment Advisors.

You’ll also be responsible for the administration and compliance of VEX vouchers to provide tighter controls to this process and ensure the smooth and efficient processing of vouchers.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range  £26,500 to £29,585  p.a.  (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide a first class In Work Support Service to Restart Participants who have secured work. 
  • Utilising a number of communication methods, though primarily outbound phone calls to engage with our Restart In Work Support Participants to provide close engagement and demonstrate the value of our In Work Support to help participants remain in work. 
  • Identify and categorize fallen out of work risks. 
  • Work closely with our operational colleagues to provide useful intelligence so we can provide a holistic and collaborative approach to our participants support.

Skills and Experience

 

Essential

  • Positive, service-oriented attitude with demonstrable experience in a customer service-related role
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships
  • IT literate with familiarity of in using a MS Office products and modern digital technologies, i.e. Microsoft Teams and customer databases/systems 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to work without direct supervision or as part of a team

Desirable

  • Understanding of the challenges for participants entering new employment 
  • Experience of working in a high-performance culture
  • Experience of delivering services to specific quality standards
  • Experience of meeting compliance standards
