Operations Director - Managed Services (Remote)

Job Role

This is a unique opportunity to join us in this brand new role and be a vital contributor to our success!  We’re looking for an Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our managed services business, which includes HR services, compliance services, IT services, payroll services, and health and safety services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our service delivery, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence across all departments.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior operations role within a managed services environment and possess strong leadership and team management skills. You’ll need in-depth knowledge of HR, compliance, IT, payroll, and health and safety services.

We need your excellent strategic planning skills and execution capabilities to develop and implement operational strategies whilst also being an inspirational  leader to mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary of £80,000 p.a. with these great benefits:

Location:  Remote Working/Flexible Location

Hours:  37 hours a week.  Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Closing Date:  24 December 2024

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company and group’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects to ensure timely delivery and within budget.
  • Manage and optimise the day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance in each service function and for the customer support function.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget.
  • Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to keep the company competitive.
