Delivery Tutor - Freight Forwarding

Job Role

We're looking to recruit a Delivery Tutor with solid industry experience in International Freight Forwarding and customs clearance processes and procedures to support our Apprentices through their learning and development. 

 

Our successful candidate will be working with Apprentices to identify their learning and development needs, support them through training and coaching in the workplace, delivery of workshops, the completion of on line learning modules, and to help them learn the skills, knowledge and behaviours required in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

 

You'll deliver the new International Freight Forwarding Apprenticeship (and associated logistics qualifications) to a cohort of learners undertaking an apprenticeship programme in the East of England.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary between £27,000 and £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of learners to achieve the required outcomes in the workplace
  • To undertake training, assessments and reviews within sector specialism / occupational area(s) - Electronic system base – E portfolio  
  • Provide mentoring and support to Learners, in order to achieve Seetec’s training outcome targets
  • Design and Implement course work material

Skills and Experience

  • International Freight Forwarding experience, specialising in road, sea and/or air freight.
  • Strong current knowledge of Customs processes and procedures
  • GCSE or Equivalent in Maths and English grade C and above
  • Confident use of IT software packages and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Self -motivated
  • Target and result driven – working to SLA’S
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach with a “can do” attitude
