IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Flexible Location)

Job Role

Join our team as Project Manager to provide project management leadership for the implementation and integration of the Group IT Infrastructure roadmap.  This role focusses specifically on supporting workstream leads, senior managers and project sponsors, IT partners and colleagues ensuring successful implementation is delivered on time.


We are building a new future way of working for Seetec IT. You will be in the driving seat for delivering the new User Experience for which we operate within and be the springboard for more technology enabled improvements to our business.


Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of IT Infrastructure Projects and be an excellent communicator and problem solver.  You will have the ability to initiate and implement effective strategies with clear goals and to make clear, informed, appropriate and timely decisions. Previous experience of Office365/Modern Workplace rollout / deployment and Project experience of Microsoft Azure technologies would be an advantage or similar cloud technologies.
 

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver the IT Infrastructure Programme designed to deliver the Group technology Strategy
•Deliver projects to time, cost and scope requirements
•Develop strong and cooperative relationships.
•Leads the project team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with project sponsor and contractual requirements
•Establish project schedules and govern external vendors and technical resources.
•Monitor and provide accurate, timely information and reports on Workstream status, activities and performance throughout the lifetime of the project
•Recommend changes and improvements,
•Ensures quality of projects by utilisation of proven project methodology and adheres to Prince2/Agile

Skills and Experience

Essential
•APM/Prince 2 and Agile qualification
•5 years’ plus experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of IT infrastructure projects
•A successful track record in managing budgets and programmes of projects
•Proven experience of working with senior managers and interpreting and translating their strategic plans into specifications using extensive knowledge of specialist area
•A proven track record of Stakeholder management

Desirable 
•Graduate level degree in appropriate discipline or related qualification or equivalent experience 
•Experience in implementing major infrastructure change projects and programmes
•Experience in O365/Modern workplace project 
•Experience in IT consolidation projects and Azure migrations
•The ability to interact with both technical and non-technical senior management.
•Experience of working to Information Assurance/Governance requirements 
•Experience of leading, motivating and managing PM services and engaging with multiple management levels across technical users and business units in a related sector/industry/sector/business to achieve significant, sustainable improvements with positive outcomes    
•Member of relevant professional body
•Working on Private/Public projects
 

Additional Information

Salary: £46,550 - £58,175 p.a.  (dependent on experience)
Location: Flexible location with travel to Hockley Head office when required
Hours: 37 Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
