Volunteer (Liverpool)

Job Role

We're recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to join our unit in Liverpool, working with our team of volunteer mentors both face-to-face and remotely as they support domestic abuse perpetrators through a series of specialist interventions. The focus will be to address and change the thinking and behaviour of each perpetrator to reduce the possibility of reoffending.

We’ll need your leadership skills as you supervise the team in both group settings and on a 1:1 basis, to address and meet the needs of our participants. You'll also be responsible for any recruitment or training required.

You'll be working within a multi-agency environment, alongside the police, substance misuse staff, survivor services and mental health staff to reduce and manage any risk of harm and risk of reoffending.

This is an excellent opportunity to promote positive change, the protection of victims and children, plus the development of pro-social behaviour through a multi-agency approach.
