Channel Optimisation & Communications Manager (Remote)
Job Role
We’re seeking a skilled Channel Optimisation and Communications Manager to lead the daily operations of our multi-channel communications and content strategy.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee planning, governance, and optimisation across key channels to ensure targeted content delivery with measurable outcomes. Aligned with the Director’s strategic vision, you will convert high-level objectives into actionable plans, manage digital and creative functions, uphold brand integrity and accessibility standards, and foster continuous improvement through data-driven insights and analytics.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range of £38,000 to £45,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Remote working with some travel across UK & Ireland when required
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Translate the Director’s strategy into annual and quarterly multi-channel plans.
- Own the channel governance framework.
- Maintain a robust content/communications roadmap and editorial calendar.
- Run the end-to-end content process across visual, written, audio and video assets.
- Apply strong editorial judgment to ensure clarity, consistency, inclusivity and impact.
- Set and track channel KPI’s and dashboards.
- Produce regular performance reports.
- Coordinate with colleagues to align communications to customer journeys and commercial/contract priorities.
- Own workflows and traffic management via the project board ensuring on-time, on-brand, on-brief delivery.
- Manage day-to-day spend.
- Uphold accessibility, safeguarding, data protection and brand compliance across all outputs.
- Manage crisis and incident response protocols for channels in partnership with the Director and relevant leads.
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in multi-channel communications, digital/content operations or similar.
- Proven ownership of channel plans, governance and optimization using analytics.
- Experience managing creative and digital teams and coordinating complex workflows.
- Strong editorial/writing skills and familiarity with accessibility standards.
- Sector experience in public services, education, employability or regulated environments is desirable.
