Deputy Director - Rehabilitation & Resettlement Services (Justice)

Job Role

We’re hiring a Deputy Director for Rehabilitation & Resettlement Services (Justice). This role will oversee the operational implementation and delivery of Seetec's rehabilitation and resettlement contracts within the Directorate's portfolio. 

Our key responsibilities include maintaining and building strong relationships with commissioners and other key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and support. Additionally, you will develop and implement strategic policies across the Seetec group, aligning operations with the organisation's goals and standards. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to driving positive outcomes for the community.

Our ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational and interpersonal skills. You'll have a thorough understanding of operational management within a secure environment, including adherence to contractual requirements, is crucial. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of management experience, with proven success in a senior operational management role.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range  £56,000 up to £70,000  (dependent on experience) along with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities

 

Manage Heads of Service including their accountability for service delivery, to achieve performance outcomes in accordance with contractual requirements.

Manage contract financial budgets and expenses of allocated contracts across the portfolio. Including the commissioning of supporting services and management of subcontracted provision. 

Build strong and effective working relationships with commissioners that balance collaboration and challenge to successfully achieve contractual outcomes. Using this relationship to promote the services of the Seetec group to facilitate and encourage growth within the market.

Maintain commercial obligations and ensure compliance against contractual requirements.

Skills and Experience

 

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in management, including proven experience in a senior operational management capacity.

Degree educated in an associated discipline / or significant appropriate experience

 Experience in delivering high performance outputs via a geographically dispersed team

Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and link it to decision making and planning

 Experience of both commercial and financial management of contracted services
