Marketing and Communications Coordinator (Remote/Southwest) 8 month fixed term contract

Job Role

We’re recruiting a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our amazing team! This is a dynamic and rewarding role for an experienced and enthusiastic marketing and communications professional. You’ll lead the development and delivery of impactful local campaigns for Seetec.

Embedded in Seetec’s B2G and regional marketing team, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling content, managing events, coordinating digital and stakeholder engagement activity, and telling the story of our customers, businesses and partners. You’ll also provide support to our B2B marketing activity, helping to generate leads for Seetec’s broader employer services (e.g. training, recruitment, apprenticeships and consultancy).

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £33,000 p.a. pro rata (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location:   Remote/South West - must be based in the region to regularly travel to various locations when required
Hours:   37 hours a week.  Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm - 8 month fixed term contract (maternity cover)

Key Responsibilities

•    Coordinate the design and delivery of local marketing campaigns to raise awareness and generate referrals and leads to our services. 
•    Create and commission engaging digital content that reflects the impact of our work and promotes customer success. 
•    Work with internal and external teams, delivery partners and customers to develop inspirational customer stories. 
•    Manage social media scheduling and monitoring. 
•    Analyse digital performance data and provide regular campaign performance reporting. 
•    Liaise with Seetec’s central functions team and commissioner communications contacts to align messaging, channels, and commissioner branding guidelines. 
•    Maintain a regional marketing diary, assist with content planning, and update the internal campaign calendar. 
•    Coordinate with the creative, web and content team to deliver branded, high-quality marketing materials and digital content. 
•    Support administrative duties including briefing designers, raising purchase orders, collecting case study permissions, and supporting events. 
•    Provide support to regional and national B2B marketing campaigns. 
•    Contribute to employer-facing content, such as email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, and sector events.

Skills and Experience

•    Proven experience in a marketing, communications, or digital content role (public service, employability or third sector experience desirable). 
•    Strong writing and editorial skills with a flair for creating accessible and engaging content. 
•    Experience creating and delivering multi-channel campaigns including email, social, video, and event-based activity. 
•    A knowledge of social media, content creation and scheduling processes is an advantage. 
•    Familiarity with commissioner-led or regulated environments (e.g. DWP, local authority) is an advantage. 
•    Experience working with vulnerable groups or telling lived experience stories is a plus. 
•    An understanding of presenting statistical information concisely and to a number of different audiences is an advantage.  
•    Experience of evaluating marketing ROI or other desired outcomes is an advantage. 
•    Previous experience in community engagement is an advantage.
