Senior Administrator - Accommodation - (Remote)

Job Role

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others? Join our dedicated Accommodation Team as a Senior Administrator, supporting individuals leaving prison or serving community sentences by helping them identify housing needs and successfully reintegrate into the community.

In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with the Administration Team Manager to help lead, coach, and support the wider administration team. You’ll play a key part in ensuring staff are equipped to deliver high quality services through regular supervision, performance reviews, and ongoing development.

While this role does not include direct line management, it does involve leadership responsibilities such as mentoring, auditing, and delivering quality improvement training to help raise standards across the team. You’ll also provide a range of administrative and front line support services to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and brings a proactive, solution-focused approach to their work. With a strong background in administration, you’ll have experience managing systems and schedules, and be confident using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Your excellent communication skills both written and verbal will enable you to build strong working relationships across teams and external partners. You’ll be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and committed to maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Administration Team Manager in ensuring all operational arrangements are in place to deliver a consistent and effective administration service, including maintaining adequate staff coverage across regions to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Assist in the implementation and roll out of new or local policies, procedures, and guidance as directed by the Administration Team Manager.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure practices meet high standards and align with local processes and procedures.
  • Participate in team and interagency meetings, accurately recording and distributing clear notes and action points as required.

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Proven ability to produce and develop reports, correspondence, presentations, proposals, spreadsheets, and charts
  • Experience managing a demanding workload and performing effectively under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and administrative capabilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
