Team Leader -Fixed Term Contract 18 Months (Swindon)

Job Role

We’re looking to recruit a Team Leader to join our Work Health Programme team (WHP).

You’ll line manage a team of Employment Coaches, offering practical support such as caseload reviews and discussions of complex cases. We’re looking for an individual who is able to lead, inspire, motivate and coach the team, whose goal is to help customers obtain sustainable employment as well as achieve targets. You’ll have a high level of initiative and motivation with the ability to seek out solutions to problems and be able to work under pressure and support a team that would be working remotely.  Have a good working knowledge of the local labour market in the advertised geographical locations.   You’ll have experience in a performance target driven environment, such as business to business sales or equivalent and of working in a fast paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.  You’ll have high level digital literacy skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and web-based communication technologies.

Skills and Experience


Essential

  • Previous leadership/management experience
  • A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the advertised geographical locations (roles will generally cover the scheme across a County area)
  •  A suitable home working environment

Desirable

  • Level 3 Award in Employability Services Sector or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the employability industry and/or
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry
  • Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area (region), when required
