Job Role

INTERVENTIONS ALLIANCE is a division of Seetec and will be delivering CFO Activity Hubs.   The Activity Hubs project is funded via the HM Prison & Probation Service Co-financing Organisation (HMPPS CFO).  We offer tailored support for offenders who, due to their multiple or complex barriers are unable to access or fully benefit from mainstream services. The programme, available following release from prison and to those serving community sentences, has dual aims – to increase effective engagement with core probation services and to encourage participation in activities to help individuals lead law abiding lives. Participants are enabled to access tailored support, appropriate to their individual circumstance and assessed needs. The activities include a holistic range of social, creative and group activities and the opportunity to interact with positive role models and peers.


Attendance is voluntary and there is no statutory or any other form of compulsion. To facilitate participation, a key focus will be on providing a warm, welcoming and enabling environment. CFO Activity Hubs provide a safe and supportive space where participants can, and most importantly want to engage. Hubs are placed in the heart of local communities, involving local organisations and/or community representatives, to increase integration and the availability of local support for participants. 


The aim is to provide a comprehensive programme of activities to enable participants, to engage with support available through existing provision.  Ultimately, the aim is to address barriers to work and/or equip individuals with the necessary skills needed to desist from offending and successfully reintegrate into to their local communities


Join our team as Contract Manager to work closely with operational and corporate teams to ensure compliance against all contract and ESF requirements are delivered. You will ensure awareness of contract performance and build a collaborative relationship with our Commissioner and key stakeholders.


Our successful candidate will have experience in managing complex contracts and internal teams, however we would also love to hear from you if you have experience in successfully managing public sector funded contracts.


We need your excellent interpersonal skills along with your ability to work independently and in multiple teams across the business.  You will enjoy managing multiple projects and be an experienced manager who always strives to deliver on time. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a small team of ESF Administrators
• Act as a primary point of contact for the Commissioner
• Attend face-to-face Commissioner meetings
• Contract management oversight of Supply Chain partners
• Interpret and understand complex contractual and ESF requirements
• Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance
• Monitor, review and disseminate Commissioner communications and ESF guidance revisions to relevant stakeholders
• Ensure that you implement and monitor processes to ensure document, evidence and administrative compliance is correct
• Collate and interrogate management information

Skills and Experience

• Degree level qualification/or equivalent by experience
• Experience in successfully managing complex public sector funded contracts
• Exposure to ESF funded contracts and requirements desirable
• Management of Commissioner relationships
• Commitment to seeking continuous improvements in all areas of practice
• Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes

Additional Information

Salary: £44,675 to £56.000  p.a.  (dependent on experience)
Location: Flexible location NW/remote working with occasional visit to Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool Activity Hubs
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday - Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm
