We're Hiring: Accommodation Support Worker are you passionate about supporting people through challenging times? Do you have the resilience, empathy and determination to help individuals overcome barriers and move forward with their lives?

As part of our team, you'll support individuals facing housing challenges to access the guidance, services and opportunities they need to secure stable accommodation and regain independence. This is more than a support role; it's an opportunity to make a lasting difference while building a rewarding career. Working closely with participants, you'll identify barriers, develop tailored action plans and provide practical support to help them sustain tenancies, improve life skills and achieve positive outcomes.

Success in this role is built on strong relationships. You'll work alongside probation teams, local authorities, housing providers, landlords and community organisations to identify solutions and help individuals take important steps towards long-term stability and independence.

We're looking for motivated and proactive individuals who enjoy working with people and making a positive difference. Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records. Experience in housing, homelessness, criminal justice, welfare-to-work, community support or other people-focused environments would be beneficial. However, transferable skills, relevant lived experience and a genuine commitment to helping others achieve positive change are equally valued.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary Starting from £25,877 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 21 October 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans
  • Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need
  • Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system
  • Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns


Skills and Experience

  • Experience or knowledge of Accommodation (incl. legislation) - desirable
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience or knowledge of the work of the Criminal Justice System
  • Good organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
